How Colorblindness happens?

Color blindness is caused by genetics most of the time. It can also be caused by injury, disease, and aging.

Human eyes sees the world by a set of specialized pigments in eye cells called "Photoreceptor
"

There are two types of Photoreceptors: Rod and Cone.

Rod provides the brightness, or the gray scale image to the eye. Cone is responsible for color recognizing.

The color blindness that is caused by genetics means the person is either missing or has incorrect vision pigments. Color blindness can also be acquired due to the damage of the eye or just normal aging.
